| Toffee is one of those rare finds. We purchased her in October 2006 in foal to Kilo King, an AQHA, FQHR palomino stallion for an August-September baby. In Mid November we turned her out to pasture with our stallion and other bred mares. We began preparations the following August for our expectant mother and we waited....and waited....and waited!!! Mid September she began "bagging up" YEAH! And we waited.....and waited.....The day finally arrived on February 17, and indeed the little filly carried the beautiful paint markings that sets our stallion apart. Toffee is a wonderful mom that puts a great start on her foals. We are thrilled with her offspring when crossed with our stallion. She even rides out beautifully herself and has a disposition that is calm and easy to work with, which she passes on to her foals. She foaled a gorgeous dun colt on May 5th, 2010. |
