"Whiskey" was our first foal from Spirit and he has surpassed all of our hopes
and expectations.  He was foaled on May 25, 2006 and by two he stood 15.1HH.  
After selling my personal gelding in 2008 to a wonderful girl from Belgrade, I
made the decision to then keep Whiskey for myself.  I am so happy I did!  I rode
him 5 times as a two year old without an incident and took him in the
wilderness hunting for 7 days as a three year old.  At four we took a few family
rides and I never had him make a wrong step.  He drug logs, climbed up
through thick brush, over downfall, and through water all without even
hesitating.  I even drug a dear out with him that fall with about 2' of snow on
the ground.  He is amazing!!  I didn't get any saddle time with him in 2011
because he tore his shoulder open on a fence post.  But even that showed me
what an incredible horse he is because through weeks of doctoring he was a
perfect gentleman and not many horses would have been with the injury he
suffered.  I look forward to more adventures in 2012, hopefully spent back in
the saddle!
