| SPIRITS INDEPENDENT DOLL Grade Tobiano Filly 05/08/07 "Indy" was a long anticipated first foal from this mare. We had only had three babies before her and this mare waxed and dripped milk for nearly two weeks before foaling. I was ready to pull my hair out with the sleepless nights and then she arrived. This little girl was independent, adventurous and as agile as a ballet dancer. Being this mare's first foal, she was a bit smaller at birth, but really filled out nicely as a yearling. Unfortunately, she went to a family friend in Michigan and they lost her to West Nile shortly after her first birthday. Rest in Peace little one. |
