"Derby" is a bay and white tobiano that was born on May 1st, 2010.  
Between the wet weather and having multiple foals in such a short
amount of time, we nearly lost this little filly when she got too wet and
cold.  I must say though, that the rub-down and blankets really made a
friend of her fast.  She has a little bit of an independent streak, but her
curiosity is starting to get the best of her.  This filly's siblings are
intelligent, trusting, calm and starting them is just a matter of hopping on
and riding out.  She reminds me so much of her brother, Whiskey and he
has become one of the best horses I have ever ridden!  Her dam we
purchased as a yearling from Gordon and Angela Murphy and Angela
recently contacted me to come and take a look at one of her roping mare's
decendents.  She will be taking Derby home after she is weaned.
