We purchased Lena in May of 2008 really by chance.  We were looking at a
stud colt that the same breeders had selling also, but we didn't want to bid
against a family member that wanted him also.  Lena came through, quiet on
the lead rope for her second time leading EVER and we were impressed with
her acceptance of all the craziness around her.  Since that day, that calm
demeanor has magnified.  She greets each new experience with a quiet
common-sense attitude and doesn't ever get riled up.  We are anxious to start
her under saddle and see how she progresses with that part of her education.
 The only problem I can foresee is that she'll be ready for kids to ride her long
before I'm ready.  Having babies for us will definitely be in her future here at
2C Paints.
